Mrs. Thompson’s grade eight class is celebrating Black History Month in February. This is in memory and recognition of the important African-American people who fought for their rights and started some of the greatest civil rights movements such as Black Lives Matter (BLM). We also love that we have the opportunity to learn about black history and culture in a rich learning environment.
