Pink Shirt Day

Mrs. Thompson’s grade eight class is inviting everyone to celebrate pink shirt day by wearing any pink clothing or accessories to show your support against homophobic bullying and bullying in general. We want to encourage everyone to show their support against all types of bullying on Wednesday, February 24th. We are asking everyone to make a pink shirt day promise and to keep their promise in mind throughout the day. Don’t forget to lift each other up!

Watch our board fill up with heart sticky notes with your promises!

Pink Shirt Day fits in perfectly with our Lenten journey, which draws us out of ourselves and asks us to think about how we can care for others around us.

The grade 8’s wanted to thank everyone for wearing pink on Wednesday, February 24th. We are so happy that everyone made promises that are on our pink shirt day bulletin board. Thank you for showing your support against homophobic bullying and bullying in general by wearing your pink shirts. Remember your promises and keep them in mind, see you next spirit day.
