Birdfeeders for the school

Mrs. Wellington’s grade one and two students made bird feeders this week to hang on our Saint Antoine Daniel trees, to entice our winged friends to visit for a treat. They were especially happy to include their classmate who is learning from home, connecting via Google Meet! Mrs. Laframboise is very excited that some of these bird feeders were hung outside of the principal’s office and looks forward to seeing who shows up. 


100 Reasons to Love School

100 Reasons to love coming to school
Last week, the kindergarten students came up with 100 reasons that they love coming to school, which you can read about on each of the 100 hearts in the picture below.

Dash and Dot Robots in Grade 3

This past week, Ms. Butineau’s grade 3 students were busy coding to create programs to run our new dash and dot robots. On Friday, they got to share their projects in the gym, where they had lots of space to let their robots roam.

Blue Shirt Day
While the lockdown may be grey, life at Saint Antoine Daniel is still colourful!
On Friday, Saint Antoine Daniel grade 2 students celebrated Blue Shirt Day with a classmate online! Rare Disease Day, which takes place on the last day in February, improves knowledge amongst the general public of rare diseases while encouraging researchers and decision makers to address the needs of those living with rare diseases.
