Ministry of Education Administrative Review Process
The Board of Trustees will make a final decision on the North Barrie Pupil Accommodation Review at its next regularly scheduled meeting of Wednesday, February 27, 2013.

The Board of Trustees received a report on the North West Barrie Boundary Review at the Board meeting on January 16, 2013.
A report on the North East Barrie Boundary Review was provided at the Board meeting on November 28, 2012.
Update - Fall 2012 -Two North Barrie Boundary Reviews are under way: in North West Barrie (St. Marguerite d'Youville Catholic and The Good Shepherd Catholic schools); and North East Barrie (Monsignor Clair Catholic and St. Monica's Catholic schools).
At the regular Board meeting of June 8, 2011, the Board of Trustees approved the following recommendation:
"That the Board approve the formation of a Pupil Accommodation Committee for the North Barrie Elementary Schools which include; St.Monica's Catholic School, Monsignor Clair Catholic School, Sister Catherine Donnelly Catholic School, St. Marguerite d'Youville Catholic School, St. Mary's Catholic School and The Good Shepherd Catholic School. The Board's Pupil Accommodation Review Policies and Procedures LE-14 prescribe the study process that the North Barrie Area review will follow, and is based on the Ministry of Education's Guidelines.
The Board of Trustees approved the recommendations in a report presented at the Board Meeting on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, which defers a decision on the accommodation review, as outlined in the media release and Notice of Deferral.
A special Board Meeting was held Thursday, May 31, 2012 for trustees to receive further information from staff and for further discussions. Here is the staff presentation.
A staff report in follow-up to the public input received at the Special Board meeting was presented to the Board of Trustees on May 23, 2012.
On Monday, May 14, 2012 a special Board Meeting was held to receive public input.
The North Barrie Pupil Accommodation Review Staff report was presented to the Board of Trustees on April 11, 2012.
The Pupil Accommodation Committee delivered their report to the Direction of Education on March 14, 2012. The appendices to the report can be accessed here.
